  Jiah Khan
  
  The 25 year old, Nishabd actress Nafisa (Jiah) Khan hung herself on the 3rd June, 2013 at her residence. The reason behind her suicide remains a mystery, but sources close to the actress claim that problems in her relationship with boyfried, Sooraj Panscholi might have cited her to do so.

   

  

   

   

  Divya Bharathi
  
  Divya Bharathi touched the peak of success within just one year of her Bollywood journey. The actress delivered hits like Vishvatma, Deewana and Dil Aashna and also won the Filmfare Best Debut award in 1993. She was married to Bollywood producer, Sajid Nadiadwala. Amidst all the happy happening, around midnight of 5 April 1993, Bharti fell to her death from a five-storey Tulsi apartment building in Versova Mumbai. Whether her death was just a sudden demise, a murder or suicide has always remained a mystery!

  Priya Rajvansh was a popular actress in 50's and 60's and was married to Chetan Anand. After her husbands death, she was murdered at her residence in 2000. Chetan Anand's sons from his first marriage were convicted for the same.

  After achieving success through over 450 films, as an erotic actress over 17 years, Silk Smitha tried her hand at producing films. Failure, failed romance is cited to be the reason behind the Silk's suicide in 1996.

   

  

   

  Suraiya
  
  Suraiya was rich, famous and lived an opulent life. Yet, was admitted to a run down establishment at the time of her death. Mysterious enough, her friend Hasina Shabir filed an affidavit believing foul play at work. She stated that there were bruises on Suraiya's body and her legs were swollen. Further, the actress was buried without any post mortem. Her property is still being disputed over!

   

  

   

   

  Guru Dutt
  
  Much like his films, the legendary actor and filmmaker, Guru Dutt died in his third suicide attempt in his flat. He was suffering through depression, glimpses of which are much reflected in his works.
