If you are able to access your email in the AOL Desktop Gold software, then you need to do the following steps to fix the issue:
- Check whether you have an active internet connection or not.
- Remove the junk and temporary data from your system.
- Make sure your system is fully secured and has no malicious programs and malware.
- Check that the device driver of your system is up-to-date.
- Even update the desktop software to its latest version.
- If all these steps don't help you to resolve the issue, then you have to uninstall and then download AOL Gold again on your system.
